Party Thank You’s do you have a kid’s birthday coming up? Here is a perfect way to say more than just thank you but it shows how much effort you put into the thank you gifts these gifts are all put together by scratch from you. A party isn’t a party without sweets.  Or thank you’s.

What you will need:

  • brown paper
  • color thread or sewing machine
  •  stamp/stamp pad
  • candy, candy and more candy

First, begin by cutting some circles out of the brown paper. Circles shown are about 5 inches in diameter  you can trace and cut out your circles by hand.

Second, use your Thank You stamp and stamp on half of the circles if you chose a stamp or you can hand write a thank you or print it out from the computer.

Then you place one stamped circle together with a blank circle and sew them together, about 3/4 of the way around the circle (using a 1/4 inch seam allowance).  Then, without even lifting the needle out of the paper, you opened it up and stuff it full of candy. Then I adjusted the edges of both circles so that they would close around all the candy, and sewed bit by bit until the circle was closed off. Don’t forget that it is recommended to back-stitch after you  make it all the way around the circle, so that your stitches don’t unravel.

Once you have sewed your circle all the way around your done! What a quick, easy and fun craft for a Thank You gift.

I hope you enjoy!
