Do you have any extra clothespins lying around the house? Or have been wanting to do a DIY with clothes pins? Here is one project that can be used as two different things with either one it will be up to you. At the same time you are also recycling old Tuna Cans and the clothespins.
What you will need:
- One 5 oz Tuna Can
- small tea light candles
The first project will be a plant holder what you will need to do is make sure your Tuna Can is completely cleaned out. Once that is done you will start with putting one clothes pin at a time around the Tuna Can till your done.
Now we would recommend inputting a herb plant but it’s up to you. Here is an example of a small herb plant we have used inside the clothespins planter also notice the paper hearts that are cut out of construction paper to give a little more color to the herb planter.
These planters are also great house-warming gifts, birthday gifts, for someone at the office or a teacher when school starts.
Also instead of the planter you can insert a small tea light candle and use these planter as candle holders for your home, back yard or a party.
