Hey guys! Imikimi Team here! We have another excellent craft for you this week. Although books are now readily available on our electronic devices, nothing beats picking up a book and being able to page through it. Another joy of reading an actual book is being able to mark your place with a bookmark.
- Thick paper
- Super Glue
- Glue Stick
- Scissors (scrapbooking scissors if you have them)
First off you will need to make a Kimi.
Go ahead and print your Kimi out. (NOTE: For this project, you’ll want to print out a smaller version (about 2.5” x 3.5”) of your Kimi. You can achieve this in Microsoft Word or Microsoft Office Picture Manager.)
Now is your chance to get creative! Take your scissors (scrapbooking scissors if you have them) and cut out your Kimi. Now you can add an additional piece of paper behind it to thicken your bookmark up. Add glitter or anything else you would like to make your bookmark your own.
Cut out a piece of ribbon (probably about 10 to 12 inches long). Glue it to the back of your Kimi.
Allow to dry.
Now you’re ready to start marking the pages in your favorite books! Way to go! Keep visiting us to learn some fantastic new crafts!
