Hello, fellow artists! It’s the Imikimi Team here, back again to share with you another helpful feature. While we can always create new images and graphics from scratch, sometimes we don’t always have the time, or are feeling a little drained, artistically. And that’s perfectly alright to do, so we’re going to share with you a resource which aims to save you time and money. And that resource is WeGraphics.

WeGraphics serves the needs of those people looking to incorporate textures, vectors, and brushes into their digital workflow. The site operates as a “premium” graphics resource (meaning paid graphics), but it also regularly releases some of the resources for free. This is a fantastic way to build up your digital library of graphics. To demonstrate, let’s go ahead and take a quick virtual stroll on over to

You’ll notice the slick, clean design of the website at first glance. Scrolling down will display before you, in a grid-like layout, preview images of just a sampling of a few of the resources the site offers. All of these can be quickly and easily integrated into a design, crafts, paper craft, etc. And we want to be able to download some of them for free, right? After all, free is good! So go ahead and click the “Brushes” link towards the upper left of the site.

You’ll be taken to the brushes page, and a new navigation menu will appear below the previous one. Go ahead and click the farthest link on the right, called “free.” Now, displayed before you, are every one of WeGraphics’ free brushes. These can be used in GIMP or Photoshop to easily add a higher level of detail and design to your works. Nine brushes are displayed at a time, and if you like what you see, go ahead and click on the thumbnail image to be taken to the download page, where you can download the file. If you want to see more, just click the page numbers below and to the left of the preview.

But what if you don’t want brushes? What then? Well then just go back to the top of the page and click another navigation link. Perhaps you want some vectors. Or perhaps you want some textures to help add some natural texture/grain (like in a previous tutorial). Then go ahead and do the same for those items, by then clicking the “free” link below. And here’s another tip: if you check out the blog regularly, the staff of WeGraphics regularly posts tutorials which will help you figure out other awesome ways to use their resources.

As always, we want to thank you so very much for taking the time to stop by the official blog of Imikimi. Be sure to stop by again soon as we continually churn out more fresh content! Thanks again, and we’ll see you soon!

Best Wishes,
The Imikimi Team
