Hello, fellow artists! It’s the Imikimi Team here, back once again to share with you yet another (hopefully!) interesting and helpful resource. Making things from scratch is no small feat! We don’t always know the scope of the project we are undertaking, or exactly what skills we will need, or the degree to which they will need to be honed. And we don’t know everything about everything, or always have access to someone who does! So, here to help you today, we’re happy to share Craft.

Hailed as one of the best how-to crafting sites that can possibly be found, Craft is an absolute must-visit site, containing all that’s needed to inform and inspire. This isn’t solely an instructional site, or even just an inspirational one. Rather, Craft combines them so that each is merely a fraction of the whole. There’s videos, resources, a community, a shop, project lists, and more. The the site can be though of as a digest of all areas of crafting, rather than a site for niche subjects within the craft world.

To get a better sense of everything that’s here, let’s head on over to At first, it can be a bit difficult to tell just what’s happening on the page; there’s just so much to ingest. Have patience, as it only takes a few moments to see all that’s underlying here. Towards the upper left of the page, you’ll see the day’s date. All around that you’ll see preview images and links to pages for that day. These change with each passing day, so there’s always going to be something fresh and cool. These are pulled from all over the net, some which have been seen by many eyes, and some which have been seen by very few, which makes this site very awesome indeed. Some are even exclusive to the site, so you won’t find then anywhere else.

To get a look at some of the actual crafts, click the “Projects” link on the top left. Inside you’ll find knitting tutorials, how to make mixed drinks, paper crafting, scrap booking, design, gardening, and more. At the bottom of the page, you see text which reads “Categories.” Go ahead and click that to get a drop-down menu of the different types of crafts you can sort by. One of the coolest is “Refashion,” which highlights projects with the goal of repurposing an old item of clothing into something new and hip. Which is a much better alternative to simply tossing something in the waste bin because it’s last year’s trend.

Clicking on “Videos” towards the top of the page will bring you to just that, video tutorials about crafts and more! Remember, this isn’t just a crafting site. It’s a site which caters to those with a “hands-on” sensibility, those who would prefer to put together something themselves than to purchase it in a store. The “Crafters” link at the top will take you to highlighted crafters in the community, and their new/notable projects. “Community” will take you to a page featuring some of’s forum discussion pertaining to tips and techniques, projects, items for purchase, hot topics, and more! So be sure to use Craft to your full advantage, learning from others and absorbing inspiration for your own projects.

The whole team here at Imikimi would like to thank you so much for taking the time to stop by! We’re always so very appreciative. Stop by again soon for more awesome features! We’ll see you then!

Best Wishes,
The Imikimi Team
