Hey guys! Imikimi Team here! And thank you for joining us today. We’ve got a great craft for you to try out at home using one of your very own homemade Kimi’s.

If you’re a big fan of travelling, you may own a suitcase that’s COVERED in stickers to show off all the destinations you’ve been to. This is an awesome way to share your journeys with others and can make a great conversation piece. The problem is many people don’t get to travel as often as they like. So we’ve decided to add a new spin to the vintage way of placing stickers on suitcases and show you how to use your Kimi’s to decorate your totes bags, purses, and of course, suitcases!

What You’ll Need

  • Printable Fabric Sheets (available at any craft or hobby store)
  • Tote bag or purse (some suitcases will work as long as it has fabric covering the outside)
  • Iron
  • Printer
  • Scissors

First and foremost, you will need to create a Kimi. Now is your time to get creative! Since you’ll be showing off your awesome bag, you could make a Kimi that has your family, friends, or even your pet on it.

Once you have made your Kimi, it’s best to test out printing it on a scratch piece of paper. You want to be sure that the size is correct and no part of your picture is falling off the edge of the page. When you have the image just the way you like it you can now print on the Printable Fabric Sheet. Make sure to follow directions on the Printable Fabric Sheets as well.

You are so close to having an awesome personalized bag of your own! Just a few more steps…

You may have to set your newly printed Kimi aside to dry for a bit. Once it’s dry, take scissors and cut around the image. Now very carefully remove the backing from your Kimi.

Next you will need to lay out your bag on a hard surface. Make sure the space where you intend on putting ironing on your Kimi is nice and smooth.

Now take your iron and begin ironing on your fabric. Be sure not to use steam! Allow your bag to cool for about 2 minutes.

And now you’re done! You have just made your own personalized bag! To spice it up, you could add decorative buttons, pins with funny sayings, or more Kimi’s of you, your family and friends.

Join us next week for another Kimi craft! We’re looking forward to seeing you again!

Best wishes,
The Imikimi Team
